This program explores the everyday experiences of the men, women, and children who shaped Longmeadow during the colonial era. It examines how residents made their living, organized their households, practiced their faith, and built a close‑knit community. Drawing on local history, material culture, and period practices, the program highlights how work, family life, and community responsibility were deeply intertwined. By focusing on ordinary people as well as prominent figures, this program brings the past to life and fosters a deeper appreciation for the foundations of the community.


Program will be held at the Longmeadow Adult Center, 211 Maple Rd., Longmeadow, MA.
